A Nurse in HMC

I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines. I had completed all the requirements needed (aunthenticated certificates, diploma and document of my 2 years nursing internship). I also had my hemodialysis training back in September 13, 2010. I am computer literate. I will take my BLS on May 2, 2011 in Hamad International Training Center and will take the Prometric exam on May 4, 2011 here in Qatar. I am under father sponsorship who is currently working in Qatar Petroleum. I am wiling to be train and take all the exams to be able to enter the prestigious hospital here in Qatar which is Hamad Medical Corporation. My priority is not about the salary/money but the experience of working as a healthcare professional in that hospital. I am willing to accept even the lowest grade that they will offer. I think its a very overwhelming experience working with professional healthcare team.

I hope there is someone out there who could help me become part of HMC.

and worst maybe less than his father's housing allowance (7k), because I know 1 filipina who's direct hired from Philippines and the salary is 6,500 basic+traspo allowance + accomodation... but as she said, she doesn't care about the salary...she just want to work in a prestigious hospital in Qatar :)

You may go to the recruitment dept. in HMC, location is: if you are from Al Sadd, it's on the right side after sports r/a...hope it helps.

well, did you went to HR already?there are some filipino guys there that could help you. not really sure if they're accepting local hire nowadays and i think they need 2years minimum from what i heard. they usually ask applicants to apply in universal staffing.i'm sure you'll get in since you're here already.but are you sure you wanted to be locally hired?you'll loose some benefits like the annual leave ticket and accomodation/housing allowance.all you'll get is your basic and transpo allowance, which is in total, just the same as your father's allowance : )i hope you'll not get bitter after some time since you will have the same,or even worse job as the others with less benefits.good luck!
