I need your advice on the current status of IT courses and certifications which leads to improve the chances of entry employments opportunities for a fresh Computer Science college graduate here in Qatar.

The questions in direct form are these:

1. Which basic certifications are currently on demand ? (ICDL, MTCIP, Cisco, etc )

2. What courses are recommended for a 5 months time

3. Which training centers do offer courses with the clear objective of passing the certification tests.

4. Any other recommendation would be highly appreciated

Thanks,

It really depends on what you want to specialize.

Do you want servers administration? do you want network administration? do you want security?.

But as basics, you must start with CCNA (For networking and you grind up, Cisco are more specified into setting full networks.) MCSE or MCITP are the basics for server administration.

So check what suits you.
