moving to doha
Can anyone help
Husband been offered a job in doha and i will be coming with him. I'm a qualified nurse but after reading some posts i think it will be difficult to find a post out there. I am willing to do any type of work from caring to working in hotels etc. what are the chances of me gaining some sort of employment as being a lady of leisure might be nice in the first instance i think after a time i will get bored.
any help appreciated
since u have been a part of service industry and u r young...u surly have chances to join somewhere new unless u want to stick to being a nurse,,,,,,
doha currently is under lot of devlopment and has a lot of oppurtunities....so do not worry....
come here...look out for good openings...i can drop in your cv's where i work...its an internationl bank..
no, no, that is not strictly true. If you are a western nurse that does not give you a right to become a supervisor....Qatar hospital standards are quite good!
having worked as a nurse in the west
will make you qualified to be a nursing supervisor.
My friend got fed up with that as she was always doing paperwork and never getting to interact with patients.
a qualified nurse should get a job here but they pay may not be quite what you get in the UK!
Being a western woman, you will find job offers being made once you make connections in Qatar, teaching, reception, admin etc. Enjoy being a lady of leisure while you settle and get your feet then put the word out, you'll be surprised by the job offers. Only going by my experience :)>
I may be blonde but I am wise
smile lots laugh more
I think as a qualified nurse, you may not have any problem in finding a job. You can apply in Hamad hospital, and there are other hospitals like Appollo Clinic, American hospital,Doha Clinic, Al- Ahli hospital etc.Or the schools/colleges might need a nurse....oppurtunities definitely exist.
