Job search in qatar

Hi,
Its been one month i am here in qatar . I came here with hope of making better carrier.
I am looking for some technical job(engineering) here.
So far its been 3 interview i attended.
I am not satisfied with pay they offering. Its is very low for an engineer.
I am checking online and newspaper on regular basis and applying for all.
Hardly getting a reply back.
Now what i am planning is to go directly to the offices drop my cv
is this this the good way
all help and advice are greatefully appreciated.

keep searching dont loose hope one month is not a long period, accept anything in terms of temp. job not a permenant one, postpone your visa transfere until you are satisfied 100%

PM me what engineer you are, and your number I would ask here and there around my friends..

i think the best advise is already on the table by CuriousButDetermined that if you get a job of your particular interest and you are at early stages of career, then I would recommend to go for it (even free).

Yea....

But offer what i got was the domain exatly out of what i am looking for.

But you know here in qatar i think every one should ask for visa transfer . So if i takeup as what you told may be i have stuck with them for 2 or 3 yr . With cost of living in qatar that is i think if am right its very hard live.

Any how trying my heart out. Will hope the best thanks for all your advice.

i recommend you accept the best you offer you can get. If I were you, I would even work for free for few months to get the experience and exposure. This will in turn enable you to get a better job.

I don't recommend relying only on dropping your CV. Many companies now utilise recruitment agencies and online systems.

when i started my carrier 10 years back,my pay was 200QR/month... what do you say? enough for engineering career start or not...keeping in mind today i am much satisfied with my job and pay package...
