angel_prince2008... a suitable person to replace you. i believe that if you care for your company you will do thesame as claudia did. i was the one who find a temporary replacement for me , i will stop working on thursday this week and i tried my best to help my boss find me a replacement. i don't think that having such mindset like claudia is something that is not acceptable.

anyway clau, are your only preference for your replacement are only the people that are in Qatar?

everybody's been a doubting thomas. anyway, for someone looking for a job, they would give their cv to every opportunity that comes their way. think of it. what benefit will claudialuli get from collecting cv? if what she really wanted was no's of girls, there are many other easier way than posting here in QL. i think it just so happened that she was matured and responsible enough to feel obliged looking for her replacement. give her a break.

if some people are skeptical about your post. As there were some previous instances where there were victims of fake 'job vacancy' and unfortunately most of them were my countrymen. Well, what if I happened to refer your posted ad to my friend who's desperately looking for a job and not knowing the end result? I could be blame of not verifying the source. If your company is legally operating here, what you can do is to post the contact number of your office or fax no. for CV's submission. I hope you understand the way QLers reacted on your post.

this morning was very stressful for me

So I decide talk with my boss and tell him today and not tomorrow.

My only intention was find some nice secretary to replace me, but most of the people judged me wrong. Well, this post can be of any intention,, you really cant judge a person.

I moreover dont think this post is just to take numbers out of CVs & pass it on,,there is no gain out of it. moreover, people hunting for jobs post their CVs to many irrelevant places, sites from where CV are also forward by employees, recruitment companies,,should there be chances of your telephone numbers being spread, it can be anywhere.

FS given all the past history we have seen with people posting fake job ads and then using the nos. they get to worry females it was only right to be skeptical about such a job posting. Secondly if anyone is looking for a replacement to their own job, their first instinct would be to push forward a relative or friend etc who THEY personally know, which she already did before as she says, and not come to a public forum asking.

I'm new on this position here, only 2 months. and when I joined here the owner asked me: Claudia are you sure that you will stay in Doha?? them I answered: YES...But now I have some family problems in Sweden (my husband is swedish and I'm brazilian) and I got back to Sweden in July.

I had a brazilian friend to replace me, but she is on vacation and maybe do not come back to doha anymore.

I did not informed him about it so far, my plan is to do it untill thursday, do I would like to have somebody to indicate to him for this position.

THATS WHY I PUT IT ON QATAR LIVING.

But listen, this is a small company, he is absolutely busy all day and most all of the time I'm alone in the office. so thats why I need find somebody to indicate, so he dont spend anytime doing it.

The salary is not high...about 3.500

he is a Canadian Lawyer

if it's just a small company, then maybe they realy prefer referral from an outgoing employee rather than going through the hassle of advertising or posting classifieds specialy if the company do not have HR.

Hmmm Rms has a point why are you so interested in finding a replacement? If your leaving, i'm sure you're either leaving for a better job or just leaving the country. In any case you dont have to worry about a replacement. Let your company put an ad in the paper.
