visit the Filipino Expatriates Group and read on the threads there... you might get some insights... it 's ok here, just adhere to the laws of the land and the pointers you got from PDOS and you'll be ok... nothing to worry about like what you might always see in the local tv or heard in the news there... HMC is a OK company, lots of filipino nurses there too... food - no worries, lots of pinoy resto around,... and also there are a lot of Filipino stores/market here you can find almost everything if not all...

gather 50 points and apply for membership to FilEx and you'll get kabayan friends instantly :)

Like:

you got safe for your(Money, Family , Religion & of course your life). You can`t find this more often this days in most of other countries.

Dislike:

Comparing to what

My home country Qatar wins.

Arabic Countries Qatar Wins.

Islamic Countries Qatar Compete with Turkey.

International Qatar wins for (a Free Tax Salary).

It`s the most favorable country especially for the families.

Likes - about 2%

Dislikes - about 98%

Since I have more 'dislikes', I wouldn't dare share it.

My advice is, just persevere in your job and don't ask your coworkers how much they're being paid because it will depress you. Don't mind the trials that come your way especially the social life between you and your coworkers. Just think about the salary in the end and it will revive you.
