How Patient does one need to be once you apply for work? Please advise...
Hi,
I'm in Australia, hoping to make the journey to Qatar. I applied for a position via an agency in late November of 2007.
I have been 'told' that I am a leading candidate to secure this position, but it's now mid Jan '08.
My agent advises these processes in Qatar, especially involving expats, takes time, and tells me to be very patient.
How patient does one need to be, and, has any current expat Australian, or, anyone else for that matter working in Qatar had a similar experience.
Is it worth persisting? Is this normal? Do you forget and move on?
Any advice would be appreciated..
Thanks
Thanking you all for your replies. Will continue to be 'patient'..
All the best to you all..
You might receive some job offer(s) after one year or more. It can be now also. You cannot predict.
