Hiring process at Qatar Petroleum

i have the same situation right now. but the thing is they wont give me an offer letter or even a draft offer letter so i can apply for NOC. i have done the interviews and medical the only thing that is blocking me from working in QP is the Offer letter. do you have any suggestion?.

Just be patience. The norm for red tapes and blue print in their hiring process are there always. Follow up once in a while by email but not to often to bored them down.

can anyone tel me how to apply in QP for IT dept? i guess haris09 would have finished his interview already... can u tel me how did u try for QP...

I was interviewed by QP in Doha one week back. Medical exam. was also conducted. They told me that they will inform me and send formal letter via email after getting results of interview from concerned department and also medical test. Can somebody tell me after how much time response is expected?

I am currently working in USA and an indian national. I was interviewed ( telephone) by QP IT management for a sr system engineer position. They told they will get back in 2 weeks. what is the normal wait time based on the IT dept response time? Does anyone know if they have on going recruitment going for IT dept? How is IT dept there and what is the staff streangth?

it means that i don't have now the chance of working at QP! that man fooled me!

i am sure the managing director does not get involved with the hiring of a security office! His Excellancy has much more important things to do!!

That excuse sounds like someone trying to fob you off!

my worry is that my contract will end this last day of april. what do you think will be the best to do...am i going to extend my contract until feb 2010 to have enough time in waiting for the second interview?

Have a lot of patient. QP called me back after 5 months from the initial interview. Send me a draft offer after 2 months after the 2nd call. Send me final offer after 3 months and inform me to resign from my current job. And finally Im here in QP. If its for you, then its for you. Good Luck!!
