Hamad Medical Corporation

HI,

I have been offered a job working for HMC in management (after being a Graduate of the NHS Graduate programme).

I'm 26 and I've been offered accommodation and a salary of around 22,000 QRi a month plus other benefits, is this reasonable?

Does anyone know anything about this corporation and what it is like to work for them?

Also, what sort of accommodation can I expect? I'm married with a 7 month old baby and have to consider these.

I'm also interested in how British people have settled while they have been over there and what I can expect as a way of culture shock?

I've not accepted the offer just yet as I'm trying to find out as much information as possible first

any advice would be very helpful

HMC is a government hospital where everything is almost free.

I agree with the first comment, grab it but don't or should I say never discuss your salary here.

If you can find a job in the NHS, aged 26, tax free for 40,000 GBP then I'd go for it - see you soon in Doha!

One tip - best not to talk about what you're earning.

Hamad Medical Corporation is a government hospital and also the pride for the Qatar nation with a very good advanced infrastructure facilities. You are lucky to get such offer and bluntly go for it. As far as the salary is concerned, it is reasonable and is based on the nature of your job. Accommodation wouldn't be a problem at all from HMC. Here life is good and peaceful for all nationalities. so i suggest you to take up and have a better future very soon.
