expatriates: BEWARE of such Companies
I am a Canadian Senior Engineer who worked and quit from a company still applying the following unjust and unacceptable policies:
1- Preserving the passport
2- Preserving 1 month salary
3- Paying Salaries always Late (between 4th&10th)
4- Salary yearly increase Not granted
5- Salary Not paid in full amount after each leave or vacation (but paid in partial and reimbursed based on other weird system)
6- Not paying vacation & end of service based on Basic Salary (but based on other calculation to get lower basic salary)
7- Not paying contract bonus as agreed
8- Not providing private medical insurance
9- Not providing family size car (or equivalent allowance)
10- Not providing scholarship allowance
11- Not providing yearly exit for senior employees
ADVICE:
Always read all contract terms and ask for internal policies before signing any contract.

The advice is good but there's no way of knowing if the company will honor the contract before you start working. Therefore you need to inform us who the company is. You said you have quit the company so there is no reason to protect their identity.
