jjj75, the QBBF is completely different and aimed at British business and people linked to British business in Qatar. The Trade mission involves businesses with products and services from the UK who are looking to do business with Qatar. Both have roots at the embassy of course, but are not the same.
That's because the Froggies are sneaky.. They probably used Carla to swing the deal :o(
What has the Typhoon got to do with the British Trade Mission here (which is actually called QBBF by the way).
Saudi's are still buying them, so win some, lose some.
It reminded me of a recent fighter planes deal they lost to a competitor from Europe itself for a customer in Asia.
