Any online game publishers in Qatar?
Hi everyone!
Is there any online game (MMORPG) publisher in Qatar right now? I tried google-ing it but nothing comes out.
I'm currently a Project Manager for an online game (MMORPG) publisher in Vietnam. For the past 5 years, I've also worked as Community and Game Operations Manager in the same industry so basically, I have no experience in any other industry. I guess I'm being hopeful that I can use my experience and speciality when I move to Doha.

If you did start one, it would be great. You wouldn't be targetting Qataris either but all over the region.

Or at least used to....I played EQ for about 4 years...EQ2 for another year, and finally WOW before coming to Qatar....and a few others I dabbled in, but nothing too serious.....now I have no time

Yeah... WoW is quite popular but it's an international server. I guess that means local publishers do not exist in Qatar then?
Starting one is a good idea. I'd know how to build one from scratch up and which people to get and where to find them but... *thinks* I don't have the budget for that. The rewards are plenty but the capital for this kind of business is huge!
Where will I find someone with mucho moolah who'd like to venture into this new industry? :)
