Any film/TV/media professionals here? Help!

Hello there!

I've just arrived in Doha (5 days ago) with my husband who has a new job here.
I have a media background - having worked in post-production and production for 10 years now.

I've tried internet research, but apart from Al-Jazeera, I really haven't quite figured out the scene. Is it small, large, growing or largely non-existent?
Are there large media/production houses here? Could anyone help me with names of the few top/promising ones?

As the husband (and hence, his colleagues) works in a completely different sector, and I don't really have a network here yet, your comments/suggestions and input are really important and would be much-appreciated!
