ADVICE ON GETTING A LEGAL JOB
By lawyer1309 •
Hi,
I've studied the bar from England and have been practising for the past 8 years as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. I'm looking for a job in Qatar and need all the advice that I can get.
Would really appreciate it if someone could suggest how i could go about it.
thanks in advance
Well, no, I'm not a lawyer! I think my point is that you just can't decide you want to work in Qatar. You have to have a job. If you are looking for a high-level job you must be recruited. Believe me, walking in isn't gonna cut it!

Would you have any information regarding headhunters in the law profession?
Let me clarify. I am looking for a job as a lawyer which falls in the legal sector hence also called legal jobs. English language has more than one meaning attached to one word. :)
You would hope so. Did he just study the bar aor was he called to it? Who knows....
The legal system here is something different to the UK as well, so prepare to be surprised....
Well, as a lawyer he should be able to express exactly what he means, shouldn't he?
@mazaismyhero - I think he meant ''legal'' as in a job as a lawyer...
It's always good to have a legal job. Having an illega
Job in Qatar can get you into lots of trouble.
It is my impression that lawyers in Qatar are head-hunted by corporations. Being with a head-hunting firm in your profession will probably be your best way.
