Update: At least 4 killed in gas explosion near Landmark Mall
QTV is reporting that at least 4 people have been killed in a gas explosion near Doha's Landmark Mall.
Meanwhile, an Al Fazaa police officer told Doha News that there were actually "lots killed".
The Minitry of Interior issued a statement saying that it was a gas explosion at Istanbul Restaurant.
Police and rescue services worked to clean up and secure the petrol station where the restaurant is situated, as well as the surrounding areas.

This morning a gas cylinder exploded at Hala Istanbul Restaurant near Landmark Mall. the explosion ignited a fire, while it was at the petrol station it was far away from the petrol tanks.
Many photos of the accident scene have been circulating on social media, and suggest that many people were seriously injured.
The Hala Istanbul appears to be completely collapsed, with other nearby stores suffering damage as well.
Several people were injured and were rushed to Hamad Hospital for immediate medical care.
