Photo of young GCC leaders a big hit on social media
When you think about a meeting involving some top leaders of GCC countries, what is the scenario that immediately springs to mind?
Leaders decked out in Ghutra, the traditional headdress, and dark-colored robes, sitting in a room with rich large number of dignitaries etc.
But as Bob Dylan once sung, the times they are a-changing.

A photograph, showing some of the GCC youngest and most dynamic leaders in an informal setting, without the preferred official garb, is doing the rounds in the region. While the photo itself is not remarkable, its unofficial setting and level of comfort between the photograph's subjects paint a good picture for the future of the region. It has also garnered some positive responses online.
Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Representative of the King of Bahrain for humanitarian and youth affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of the Royal Court of Oman Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Bousaeedi, Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassem Al Thani and Kuwaiti minister of state for Cabinet affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al Sabah were snapped lounging at a restaurant.
According to AlArabiya.net, the photograph was taken following the first meeting of GCC’s Commission of Economic and Developmental Affairs at the Conference Palace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
