The official working hours in Qatar during the month of Ramadan have been announced, and thankfully, three hours have been shorn off the usual eight-hour working day.

Like the previous year, civil employees will need to work five hours a day, from the hours of 9:00 am till 2:00 pm. This applies to public institutions, ministries and government bodies.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud issued the circular regarding this matter.
