More public parks in Qatar to start getting free Wi-Fi soon
One of the best things about major public parks in Qatar is that it also offers free Wi-Fi.
It means that while your children catch up on their daily dose of outdoor fun, you can still attend to important job situations on the move. There is more good news for Qatari residents as authorities are getting ready to extend free Wi-Fi coverage to more parks in the country.
The Peninsula reported that free Wi-Fi will soon be available at parks in Al Luqta, New Onaiza, Ain Khaled, Al Jubailat, Al Ruwais Resort in Al Shamal, Al Duhail and Al Shamal.
At the moment, residents can access free Wi-Fi at public parks like Dahl Al Hammam park, Al Dafna park, Al Wakrah public park, Al Khor Corniche, Simaisma park, Al Shahaniya park, and Ali bin Jassim park.
New parks are also set to open soon. Four parks will be opened in Doha located in Al Mamoura, Area 66, Area 67, and Al Thumama. Two other parks are getting ready for opening in Al Khor-Al Dakhira municipality.
All the new parks will be family-friendly, with all the required facilities, including entertainment, sports facilities and play area for children.

This is bad news. Now people will go and just sit in parks to utilise the free wifi and watch movies or Skype Chat, rather than enjoying the park or walking and exercising
