With Eid holidays right around the corner, many public and private institutions have started making plans for their breaks.

It is learnt that financial institutions coming under Qatar Central Bank’s jurisdiction — including banks and insurance companies — will remain closed for nine days.

While the official holidays are from June 25 to 29, they will be closed for four additional days owing to two weekend holidays on June 23 and 24 and June 30 and July 1, reported Gulf Times.

Hospitals functioning under the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will also have the same holiday schedule (June 25 to July 3), but will function partially according to the following schedule, reported Gulf Times.

Morning shifts for health centres in Omar bin Kattab, Al Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Rawdat Al Khail, Abu Baker Sidiq, Leabaib, West Bay, Mesaimeer, Umm Ghuwailina and Airport area will be from 7am to 2pm and evening shift from 4pm to 11pm.

Dental Services’ working hours will be from 7am to 2pm and in the evening from 4pm to 11pm. None of them will operate on the first day of Eid Al Fitr and on Friday mornings.

Working hours for Health Centres outside Doha city will be as follows: Morning shift for health centres in Al Khor and Al Shamal will be from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 11pm.
