How old should you be to win a Porsche car in a raffle draw? How about one year?
How old do you have to be to end up being lucky? If you ask the parents of Sudanese national Hashem Ahmad Hashem, then the answer would be hardly one year old.
The youngster was the owner of coupon number 03567 which won him a Porsche Macan Turbo car in a raffle draw held at the Mall of Qatar on December 28, reported Gulf Times.
Hashem’s parents were buying presents for his birthday and entered 10 coupons in the raffle barrel under his name and one of them was deemed the winning coupo, according to Qatar Tribune.
The ‘Shop and Win’ promotion is part of Mall of Qatar’s initiative to provide year-round entertainment to its visitors. Shoppers that spend QR300 can enter the draw.
“It’s wonderful that shoppers of all ages were so involved in this promotion. We’ve had an extremely positive result from customers, so much that we look forward to launching our next mall-wide promotion,” said Mall of Qatar CEO Stuart Elder.
