Homicide rate for Qatar higher than Bahrain and Saudi

A report by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime claims there are 1.1 killings in Qatar for every 100,000 people in the population - the same as that for Oman.
However, Saudi Arabia was at 0.8 while Bahrain was only 0.5 deaths per a 100,000.
The country with the highest murder rate in the region is the UAE at 2.6, higher than any others in the GCC.
However, its much lower than the US at 4.7 and Iraq with 8.
