Heavy rains cause chaos across Doha

Heavy rains disrupted life in Doha yesterday, with many low-lying areas being completely flooded.

Motorists were stuck in traffic jams for hours, while Ashghal teams worked through the night to pump the water out.

In the Salwa Road tunnels, a few motorists had to abandon their cars after the water caused them to break down.
