George Michael Turned a Different Corner and Left us Today at Age 53
George Michael saw his ‘Last Christmas’ yesterday and, today, the sun has gone down on this singing sensation who has left us at the age of 53 with a legacy of beautiful songs and music that were the highlight of many of our lives as we were growing up.
With an ‘Amazing’ music career spanning four decades, George Michael was a singing maestro with his deep, unique voice that won him millions of fans worldwide.
His death is not being treated as suspicious by the police, but is unexplained at this point.
It is believed that he may have died of heart failure, but we will not know for sure till the post-mortem is complete.
Though remembered in the Middle East almost entirely for his artisitc achievements, Michael was also a vigorous opponent of the 2003 Iraq War.
George Michael started his career with Wham! In the 80s when he teamed up with his school friend, Andrew Ridgeley.
The band went on to make some of the most popular songs of that time with super hits that included “Careless Whisper”, “Last Christmas”, “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go”.
When the band split up, Geaorge Michael went on to become a solo sensation and came up with super hits that included “Faith”, Father Figure”, “Older” and many more.
He was always in the news for something or the other and not always in a positive light.
He was fined on occasion and caught driving under the influence of drugs amongst other things, but, nonetheless, he will always be remembered for his songs before anything else.
