Five Qatari women on Forbes’ most powerful Arabs list
Qatar has become the 8th most represented country in the Forbes list, for, five Qatari ladies have made it to the 3 lists of Forbes.
Those outstanding ladies are –
#- Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani at no.3 for her role as the chairperson of the Qatar Museums.
#- QNB Capital CEO Mira Al-Attiyah at no.23 for her role as the chief executive of QNB’s investment banking subsidiary.
#- Dr. Hanan Al-Kuwary, the managing director of Hamad Medical Corporation holds the 37th place.
#- Sheikha Hanadi al-Thani at the 79th place for her role as the founder and chairperson of Amwal, an asset managing company.
#- Hessa Al-Jaber, one of the 3 female ministers in Qatar and the head of the ministry of the Information and Communication Technology, was the only one to be ranked in the 10 most powerful Arab women in government list.
This isn’t the first time that the Emir’s sister and the chairperson of the Qatar Museum, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani has been in the Forbes list. Three years ago, she was ranked as one of the 100 most powerful women in the world. This year, she landed in the third spot.
The Forbes Middle East annual list brings the powerful Arab female authority in business and government to light.
This year, the magazine named three lists – 100 of the most powerful Arab business women, 10 most powerful Arab women in government and world’s 10 most powerful Arab women who make a global impact.
We are all extremely proud of the services rendered by each individual mentioned above. They will always be a role model for numerous women around them.
