The first local cab booking app in the country — Qatar Taxi — launched
For those who have been continually frustrated when it comes to booking taxis and then waiting for them endlessly, there is some good news.
A local company named Al Dana has launched a first-of-its-kind Qatari application that will help people book taxis, reported Gulf Times.
The app boasts of being able to book taxis for you at affordable prices. The app is safe, reliable and capable to ensure the security, privacy of users and their data in better way compared to other applications available on the market as it is Qatar based, reported The Peninsula.
“We’re pleased to announce the launch of the first Qatar-based mobile car reservation application. We’ve developed this app to offer excellent services to our fellow commuters who’re increasingly looking for an ease of travel with advanced technologies that protect their personal information in better ways than other applications,”said Al Dana Company’s CEO Sheikh Hamad Al Thani.
“We already have a data base of 7,000 customers. The personal data, which is usually a concern for customers, will remain safe within our data bank, particularly since it’s not linked to any international networks,” he told Qatar Tribune.
In an effort to strengthen and improve the service network, Qatar Taxi will pursue several strategic partnerships with ministries and authorities, in addition to launching a wide range of offers, which will meet the needs of the society.

There are more then 5 Qatar beside cab booking app available and I think no need any more. nothing new in Qatar Taxi, UBER and CAREEM are there I'm happy with Careem and for knowledge CAREEM is incubated in Qatar by Qatar Incubation Center so Careem is locally too and first and before anyone.
this is not the first local application , there is karwa application long time ago .
I prefer Uber... Tried and Tested Brand any time of the day or night.
