Doha Metro announces free metrolink services connecting The Pearl-Qatar
Phase 4 has been split into two as announced by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management on August 26, 2020.
The first stage commenced on September 1, 2020, with the resumption of several activities and services in line with the necessary precautionary and preventive measures to protect everyone against COVID-19.
Doha Metro has resumed its services on September 1, 2020, and opened Legtaifiya station on the Red Line, which is one of the interchange stations between the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram, completing the 37 Doha Metro stations.
Yesterday, Doha Metro announced the service expansion of free Metrolink services, which now connects to The Pearl- Qatar from Legtaifiya station.
Additionally, Doha Metro also announces the expansion of our metroexpress pilot service, which covers DECC, West Bay, Al Qassar, Katara, Legtaifya, and Qatar University stations.
All lines are operating as the same service hours as prior to the lockdown, from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm Saturday to Wednesday, 6:00 am to midnight on Thursday, and 2:00 pm to midnight on Fridays.
The frequency of services also remains the same with trains running every 5 minutes across the Green and Gold Lines and every 5 minutes from Al Wakra and Hamad International Airport on the Red Line.
