The diversion is required to facilitate the construction of an interchange on Ashghal's Al Wakra Bypass project, part of its Expressway Programme.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. The Public Works Authority requests that all road users abide by the 50 kph speed limit and follow road signs to ensure their safety. [Ashghal]
