A total of 67 Indians have died in Qatar so far this year, confirmed the Indian Embassy during the Community house held yesterday.

This is the figure that has been reported at the Indian Embassy until March 29, reported Gulf Times.

According to information made available during the house, as many as 180 Indians are in the Central Prison while 80 are waiting for their turn to leave the country at the Deportation Centre of the Criminal Evidence and Investigation Department.

The Labour and Community Welfare Section at the Indian Embassy received 674 complaints so far this year. Out of this, 514 complaints were resolved and 69 are currently under follow up, according to The Peninsula.

Last month, the embassy issued 33 emergency certificates for Indians to travel home from the Deportation. Around 188 air tickets were also issued to aid Indian nationals in distress to return home.

Ambassador P Kumaran, deputy chief of mission R K Singh and other officials attended the community house programme.

I nearly died a few weeks back.

The lightning storm ripped thru my favorite psychedelic patterned lungi !

Thank goodness, my crown jewels were spared.
