15 playgrounds to be built in Qatar

Marking National Sport Day, the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC)  unveiled a plan to set up playgrounds equipped with integrated sport and entertainment facilities.

The projects are part of the QOC’s efforts to provide people in different age groups with multiple sport facilities and entertainment services across the country.

The QOC revealed a five-year plan to develop 15 Al Firjan playgrounds with a rate of three per a year across the country. The plan includes the establishment of integrated sport and social centres for women.
