Match for Hope 2025 raises QR40mn with Team KSI x AboFlah as the Winners
Team KSI x AboFlah won 6-5 over Team Chunkz x IShowSpeed in a highly entertaining second edition of the annual football fundraiser Match for Hope, held at Stadium 974 in Doha Friday, raising at least QR39,174,385 ($10,732,708).
Organised by Q Life, the cultural platform under Qatar's International Media Office, all proceeds raised from the event will go once again to the Education Above All Foundation (EAA), the global foundation founded, which aims to transform lives through education.
Following a hugely successful inaugural Match for Hope last year, the 2025 edition featured football legends such as Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo, Alessandro, Del Piero, Andres Iniesta and David Silva and some of the world’s biggest content creators including KSI, IShowSpeed, Chunkz, AboFlah, Sharky, Miniminter, and others.
It was Adam Waheed's last gasp goal that won the match for Team KSI x AboFlah. Team Chunkz x IShowSpeed's EmanSV2 won the Man of the Match award after scoring a hattrick.
Earlier, the game got off to a dramatic start when KSI netted an own goal - from a Speed assist. Post-match KSI quipped: "I even tried scoring for them, and they still lost!"

The two teams were managed by former PSG and Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino and Arsenal’s legendary ex-manager Arsene Wenger.
Fans enjoyed a live pre-match performance by noted Syrian singer Rasha Rizk and a half-time show by award-winning American rapper Macklemore.
Match for Hope 2024 raised more than US$8.8m for EAA, to help support more than 70,000 out-of-school children.
