First look: Place Vendôme Mall welcomes the public
The new home of luxury and fashion in Qatar, Place Vendôme is a multi-billion Qatari project in Qatar’s emerging Lusail City. It is a project of United Developers, a group of four Qatari investors who partnered to align their expertise in retail, real estate, construction, and contracting. United Developers envision Place Vendôme as a groundbreaking example of the entrepreneurship, vision, and energy of Qatari commitment to the nation’s development.

The project broke ground on March 17, 2014, and is now open to the public. The 1,000,000m² development hosts two five-star luxury hotels, serviced apartments, a mall featuring up to 600 different retail outlets with an exclusively luxurious wing dedicated to top designer labels, and a central entertainment component showcasing constant attractions.

The Parisian-inspired development is reminiscent of the famous high-end shopping street in Paris, Rue de la Paix, of which Place Vendôme is the starting point. The architecture is intended to radiate luxury and extravagance while conveying a touch of cultural and artistic feel, setting the tone for the entire shopping experience. Interiors reflect the classical French style and a calm, luxurious feel. The well-balanced retail mix of high-end shops, in-line medium-range shops, entertainment, media, and food and beverage facilities occupy all four floors of the mall. Currently, only two floors are fully open to the public, the rest of the floors will be opening soon.

Place Vendôme Mall also features a canal running through it directly from the sea, making for a gorgeous open plaza experience with cafes and restaurants overlooking the water. This creates a sense of connection between indoors and outdoors where the visitors can experience the landscape of dancing fountains with one of the world’s largest architectural 3D laser shows outside (coming soon in the mall), while enjoying a meal at one of the outdoor restaurants.

Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) , the first architectural and engineering consulting firm in Qatar, developed spectacular architectural designs for the magnificent mall. Also, did you know that the magnificent mall can be accessed by the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram? Lusail Central tram station is the nearest tram station and is right in front of one of the entrances of the Place Vendome mall.

Retail - Saturday to Friday: 10am - 3pm and 7:30 pm - 1 am. Fridays: 1:00 pm-1:00 am

Although i love Qatar, this is sad to see all the money spent on fake building architectures. Even more sad when o read that "Place Vendôme adheres to and supports the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030" !!? How a mall helps in building a knowledge base society?? ...it says a lot. This is so wrong.
