Filipino basketball stars from Gulf region set for Doha showdown in March

A competition featuring prominent Filipino basketball stars from across the Gulf region is set to make a comeback in Qatar after more than a decade this Ramadan season.

The 7th All-Filipino GCC Club Championship, scheduled to be held on March 21 and 22, will take place at the Al Gharafa Sports Club Hall in Doha. This will be the second time Doha is hosting the tournament, after having organised its fourth edition in 2013.

The event, organized by Sports Vision Company in association with Pinoy Basketball Qatar and JC Events LLC, will mark a significant milestone for Filipinos residing across GCC countries.

It will bring together key Filipino basketball players working in the region in what is expected to be a highly-competitive setting.

The 7th All-Filipino GCC Club Championship will not only showcase exceptional basketball skills by Filipino players from across the Gulf region, it will also bring sportsmanship and a deep sense of community spirit to the fore.
