
Al Abdulghani Motors Supports TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Team at WEC

Al Abdulghani Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota in Qatar, proudly supported the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) team at the Qatar 1812km, the opening race of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Further cementing its role in growing Qatar’s motorsports culture, Al Abdulghani Motors unveiled a series of activities at the Toyota GR Lounge at Lusail International Circuit, bringing fans, media, and industry leaders closer to the excitement of endurance racing.
Ahead of the championship, Al Abdulghani Motors also hosted an exclusive Prologue Event at Qatar Racing Club offering key stakeholders, media and sponsors an up-close experience with the TGR drivers and Toyota GR Yaris Cup racers. The event featured a dynamic showcase of Toyota’s motorsports heritage, a meet-and-greet with the teams, and a thrilling demonstration on the racetrack. Kazuki Nakajima, Team Director of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and a former champion driver, shared insights on Toyota’s pioneering hybrid technology and its role in shaping the future of motorsports.
During the Qatar 1812km WEC, Al Abdulghani Motors hosted executives, key partners, and media members at the Toyota GR Lounge, where they engaged with TGR’s world-class drivers and enjoyed an exclusive Toyota GR garage tour.
The TGR team competed at the Qatar 1812km WEC with the #7 and #8 GR010 HYBRID race cars, which operate on 100% renewable energy from biofuels. After an intense battle on the track, the team secured a hard-fought top-six finish with both cars, reinforcing Toyota’s commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge automotive engineering.
Al Abdulghani Motors showcased the ten high-performance Toyota GR Yaris race vehicles at the Toyota GR Stand in the Fan Zone. Visitors experienced the thrill of racing firsthand through state-of-the-art GR driving simulators and interactive activations, highlighting the brand’s commitment to fostering grassroots motorsports in the region.
