Multiple old posts on this subject and hence enquiring again to be clear. I want to bring my wife in family residence visa. But few day’s ago I found she have hepatitis b+. I have read that all newcomer’s are required to take a medical test for screening Hepatitis B. Is it possible to make her residence permit in Qatar?
Dear all,

Your reply highly appreciated
From what I've read, she could get an exemption as long as she's not working in a service industry handling food..
No she won't be able to come Hep B is a very contagious virus the destroys the liver. She will eventually require very expensive Dialysis treatment due it destroying the liver. You also need to make sure yourself and any members of your family who come in contact with her get the vaccine immediately. The hepatitis B virus can survive outside the body for at least 7 days. During this time, the virus can still cause infection if it enters the body of a person who is not protected by the vaccine. So you want to make sure yourself or any children in the home do not become infected.
