Bringing CPU from USA

Dear Friends,

My cousin is coming from USA. He wants to bring new PC (only CPU) with him worth 1200 USD to Qatar..

How much would be the customs. Is carrying CPU allowed in Qatar, please advice on procedure.

Ensure you keep the CPU in an anti static bag and then carry it in your pocket. :)

Thanks Ibadullah for the useful info. To help others looking for answer, it would like to mention here your advice, There is 5% custom duty on the airport for the new PC. For old PC no duty. And if the clearance is needed, he can do it.

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is a small 3 x 3 cm chip. You can carry it in your pocket.
