Government moots plan to start open-air theatres in public parks
If you are a fan of watching movies in open, public places like parks, then you are in for some good news.
The Public Parks Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment is exploring the idea of setting up open-air theatres, called HawaScene, in all public parks in the country soon. The move is aimed at giving more entertainment options to visitors, reported Qatar Tribune.
A trial run of the HawaScene programme, which is expected to run until March, 2017, will be launched at the Dahl Al Hamad Park on Thursday.
The unique initiative is part of Qatar National Day celebrations and is jointly run by the Public Parks Department, Smart Global Company, Vodafone Qatar and Kia Motors.
Every week, animation films will be shown on Thursdays and Fridays, from 7pm to 9pm.
The movies are set to be played on a 5MX8M screen.

very good idea)
A great idea.... My Cuban shotputter and I along with Rizks and zafirah used to go to the park and watch movies on our laptop whilst sipping hot karak and shooting the breeze.... Good times
let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers.
Good fun till March 2017 ................ ................
