Assalam Mualaikom..

Need your Feedbacks fellow Qlers. Im holding a (family) visit visa and planning to drive here in qatar by renting a car. My question is how can I drive here or how can I get a temporary license? Please update me on the new ruling of the traffic department regarding my concern. Im an expat holding a GCC license. Thanx in advance Qlers..

The GCC driver's license is no good here as it cannot be transferred. Regarding getting hold of a driving license, there are certain professions who are not entitled to get this license and you need to check if you are include in that category. As for your query about a getting a temporary license, I do not have much information on this and suggest you check with some driving school here.
