Forced Vacation and Salary

What does Qatar labor law says, if employer is asking someone to go on forced vacation say 4 months, Is the Employer liable to pay salary to Employee?

What if you go home and they don't want you any longer - How would you get all your dues ?
It looks as if they don't want to pay your salary for four months but keep you for them in case they need you. Ask them for NOC and change the company. Don't work for such cheaters!
There is nothing mentioned in my contract as such for forced vacation and my contract is for indefinite period. I have been working for them since 5 years.
Due to job market instability, they are forcing some staff for longer vacations.
Due to higher cost of living in Qatar, specially Housing Rent, which needs to be paid on time to landlord, in addition to other expenses here, In light of Qatar labor law, can we ask for compensation to the employer, without spoiling relations with them and also not risking loosing job.

First check your contract... Some companies - especially project oriented could include this in your contract..
Theoretically, the company must pay you for such a time, but as we've seen from experience - they word it so that you either take the vacation or lose your job ..
