Where do SRI LANKANs get together on weekends?

On behalf of a Sri Lankan friend, I am trying to find out where Sri Lankans hang out in Doha! I know I read something on this site about a meeting place (but can't find any info under QL's Search).

Our friend is from Galle and is really lonely and homesick. He doesn't have access to a computer, unfortunately.

Ayubowan!I am really sorry there are no Sri Lankans gather anywhere in Doha unlike other nationailities.Sri Lankan's usually meet friends houses or places like embassy in poya days.

Singham, can you please PM me your phone number to pass on to Tiron? I'm sure he'll be happy just to know he's not alone here. He works hard to try to support his extended family in Sri Lanka, particularly as they lost so much in the tsunami.

In the embassy of Sri lanka...heheh(am jocking)

but i noticed many of them r crowded near souq waqef and gardens like al khor montaza.(in the winter)
