should I learn the Arabic language if I am going to live in Doha for the next 3-4 years?

Not necessarily, Most of the people here can speak English, but it will be better if you know at least some basics (you can learn that via internet though).

I took an arabic class back home before going here, unfortunately I forgot all about it as most of the people that I am dealing with are speaking in English!.. LoL

If the majority of the employees of the company you are working for are arabs, then yes you should learn atleast basic, else not needed.

You should, but you will find it is not necessary to do so.

I speak less Arabic in Doha than I do in the US. (I'm a blonde American who studied in Palestine.) There's really nowhere in Qatar to learn but hey, feel free to find a course somewhere. Some of my friends indulge me and speak with me. If I want to speak, I go to Jordan.
