We have just started a class at Fanar, the level one course - mainly reading, writing and building a basic vocabulary is two hours, two nights (or afternoons) a week for ten weeks - the next full course starts in October - we will be starting back on that as we are away all of August. There are ladies and mens classes. 300QAR. Very good. Call Renard 425 0174 at the Fanar mosque. It's quite heavy going, especially if you have no arabic, but I have been amazed at how much me and the children (aged 11 and 13) have learnt in such a short time. With a little extra study and doing homework, could get further. Would recommend. Friendly atmosphere, lots of support and fun.
