WISH 2018: Largest exhibition to date!
WISH is an initiative of Qatar Foundation (QF) who has partnered with local and international leaders in healthcare to host the ‘Innovation Hub.’
The largest exibition will be held in Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Qatar Foundation on November 13th and 14th.
There will be discussions held, hands-on experiences of the latest technology in the medical world and it will be a good opportunity to network in the health industry in Qatar and abroad; with both local and international partner organizations.
There are eight main local partners for WISH 2018; Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Primary Health Care Corporation, Al Ahli Hospital and Qatar Fund For Development, as well as QF entities Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Sidra Medicine and Qatar Genome Programme. All local partners will highlight making Qatar's healthcare system move quickly and efficiently.
There are three international partners who will be showcasing their healthcare projects; Orbis International, Save The Children, and Global Good.
Media partners who will be covering the two-day Innovative Hub will be Al Jazeera Media Network and the Financial Times.
Sultana N Afdhal, CEO of WISH, said, “We are grateful for the support of all our local and international partners, and look forward to welcoming them to our Innovation Hub during the summit.
She said she believes that WISH can tackle global healthcare challenges and through the Innovative Hub, Afdhal said that global organizations can be exposed to multiple approaches and experiences to improving the healthcare systems around the world.
“We must, therefore, exert our collective efforts to ensure that everyone in the world has access to high-quality and affordable healthcare, a goal that is only achievable through active global collaboration," she added.
Having experts, who have different approaches and ideas, under one roof, WISH wants to acheive as much interactivity among professionals as possible to bounce off ideas and learn from one another to benefit the health of global populations.
At the panel discussions of global healthcare issues, WISH 2018 will be having one of their local partners, Ministry of Public Health will be sponsoring a panel discussion on anti-microbial resistance.
Prior to the WISH 2018 Innovative Hub that will be hosted on November 13th and 14th, Doha Healthcare Week will run from November 6th until the 12th.
