Hi, Can some one tell me in Qatar for how many times they do PPD test? one of my friend whent for the first one today. if the test test results NEGETIVE, will he be asked to come again and again or only for one time they do this?
Only once if the PPD result is negative. If it is positive then your friend has to take medication for six months and probably will be asked to do chest X-ray.
Only Once!!! As far as i know, if the PPD test is negative ,he will not have to do it again...If positive,further blood tests are ordered and he may have to take a course of medication for TB.
