Medical X-RAY ISSUE - HELP

Hi,

I am going through an issue with regard to my medical. I went for blood test and an x-ray on the 21st May. I got a text asking for me to come back for an x-ray. Went again on the 27th May and the x-ray procedure was totally identical. Now I have been told I need to go to the medical commission again as they have asked me to come again! this is a little worrying.. is there a problem? how long does this take?

thanks in advance.

If you've failed the Medical Commission's X-Ray test compulsary for all newly arrived workers, it means there's some anomaly in your chest or lungs such as a pneumonia patch or suspected TB.

If you fail the third time around, your work visa will be denied and you'll be repatriated to your native country by your employer.

In some cases, the commission may ask you to visit the TB clinic which is located in the Rumaillah Hospital complex, for further tests. In some instances, they may allow you to undergo medication locally, provided the TB clinic and Medical Commission is satisfied that you will not contaminate others.

I suggest you visit a private clinic and find what anomalies exist in a chest X-Ray. That would possibly help prepare better for the next test.

Let me know that in past you suffer from TB ? If yes then it is detected in your X-Ray . No need to worry about that . They will check your X-Ray . If they suspect they will send you to Rumeila hospital . In Rumeila hospital they will take your blood test & will do some skin test . Mean time they will start giving medicines to you . If your TB test is positive or still your TB is active & if you are on WORK Visa then may be they will not grant you residence ....

Hope for the best . Dont worry . i hope your test will be negative .

Think that what ever happening is good for future .

Best luck

Mon, 01/06/2009 - 7:02pm (and 2 more times the same day)

And you got plenty of answers...weren't they useful at all?? that you are posting again!!

On the other hand if asked to go to MC again then I guess you will have to show all your previous tests or exams or previous medical conditions in order to asure the proper scope to the MC and then have your stay in Qatar approved without hesitation from the authorities.

Regards and best of luck!!!
