Do I need a new medical card for my son who's blood group details are incorrect?
By nadeemroshan •
When I noticed the blood grouping was wrong I instructed the office mandoop to get an immediate replacement. After a week or so the same card came back with just a small sticker on top of the incorrect details amended in ink. Is this acceptable or should I insist on a full replacement card?
I too have the same issue. No sooner I noticed the wrong blood grouping, I tried to have it corrected only to be told to correct it in Ink or put a sticker on the card.
It is very concerning.
This could be a life or death situation for your son.
Ink can wear off. Demand for a new card, without a doubt!
