I had a toe operation today but the hospital didn't provide me with crutches to walk with. If anyone has a pair or even just one, I would love to borrow them from them for a couple of week till i get back on my feet (literaly)
thanks

Alija! even though you are being judgemental and insulting by calling me greedy. I will respond to you by telling you that I CAN afford to buy cruthes but whats the point of buying something I will use for about 1 or 2 weeks when someone has no use for them!!! If you think you know me, maybe you also know how much of my income goes to charity? or what I do to help others. I grow up in a house where wearing my cousins old trousers and my dad's old jacket is not shameful. Consumerism is a sickness provoked by mass marketing, so before you start judging try to get to know the person.

My question is specific, I wanna borrow crutches not get a lesson from someone I do not know. Hope you learned something here.

maybe you didn't get crutches because you don't need them!

Crutches are not expensive to buy they cost about QR 49,-per piece. On the other hand better you get this on prescription from the hospital where you had the operation and that the physiotherapist teaches you how to walk properly with them.

Take it from me I spent months/years on crutches and it is better to have them adjusted to your needs because getting aroung on crutches is not easy. Talk to the hospital or go to the pharmacy in Vilaggio the get adjustable ones and the pharmacist can show you how to use them.

I have plenty of crutches... But one thing is going on in my head;

I mean cmon most of us expats here are very well-paid, much more above average of our home country income, so it shouldn't be a back-breaker for any expat to pay around 300riyal for and get his/her our crutches instead of posting on a public forum "oh plz can anyone lend me his crutches"

I mean where is our greediness leading us to ?!?!?!?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
