try places like bangalore or chennai or coimbatore if you are an indian or if you don't mind gettin it done from india.

remember a major amount of doctors in the states and UK are indians!!

Try to get it done in a country where there is some insurance if things go wrong.

Generally this is an easy procedure but you have to wonder why most opticians still where glasses !!!

One of the previous answers indicated a baby and young child were looking to have it done. I hope this treatment was for some other eye disorder since to rectify shortsightness at such an age using laser treatment is definitely wrong - your eyes continue to grow well into your teens and almost certainly will either get better or worse at the age of 6.

in my experience i can tell you my dad backround.he is diabetic,hipertension,blocked heart veins (almost 3 of them 97 %) and he is 73 years old.he had FACO both eyes succesfully by dearest Dr.Shamma in Hamad Hospital.She is a Qatari doctor.And she is treating all the patients like they are from her family.God bless this young lady and her team.They are well educated and trained abt it.More over,the same they when dad had surgery there were several patients that waiting their turn including a boy who was just 6 and a newborn!!

try and not do it in the gulf atleast qatar since they do not expertise in it. if u r indian u can get it done in mumbai wit dr kamdar matunga or indian eye association. i know couple of ppl who have got it done in dubai toobut 1 is to 3 is the sucess ratio by sucess i mean no issues after gettin it done
