Sheila Dikshit in news!
New Zealand TV host shamed over Sheila Dikshit slur during Games
A NEW Zealand TV presenter is in hot water after a clip resurfaced of him mocking the name of an Indian Commonwealth Games official - Sheila Dikshit.
Despite being told her name is pronounced "Dixit," TVNZ presenter Paul Henry called the Dehli chief minister "Dick-sh*t" and said that her name was "so appropriate" because she is Indian.
"The dip sh*t woman. God, what's her name? Dick Sh*t. Is it Dick Sh*t ... it looks like 'Dick Sh*t'," Henry says in the clip as he struggles to contain his laughter.
"It's so appropriate, because she's Indian, so she'd be dick-in-sh*t wouldn't she, do you know what I mean? Walking along the street ... it's just so funny."
The comments were made some days ago but continue to ruffle feathers after they today featured prominently on the TVNZ website.

He was saying "Because she is an Indian than it should be D*** in shit"
Bloody hell....
I hope his kids must be watching this too.
What a tool
tinker, let him arrive at MUMBAI airport..Shivsena and MNS will take care of him well..:))
Let that NEWS PRESENTER to come in INDIA..We will take care of him....
Drmana,i agree with you.It seemed like the guy was doing it on purpose, and he kept repeating it as well.
Its not just how he pronounced her name but also how he reasoned that his pronunciation was appropriate. He dared to say those things on-air. It means those words were said intentionally with him fully aware of what he was saying.
As long as you are on air, watched by millions of people all over the world,a certain degree of professionalism must be mauntained. And yes,the TV presenter should have made the effort to try to pronounce the lady's name in the correct manner. His behaviour was completely disgraceful and offensive.
Yeah its quite natural if they cant pronounce the Indian names properly but as a TV presenter, he/she should have practiced on what he/she is gonna present on air.
is in deep shxt now
I would not say that the news reader was wrong or bad . It is natural that a Guy from New zealand will not know how to read english as it shoud be. I blame the authorities because they have appointed a illitrate , street urchen to be their national TV news reader. God Save New zealand
It happens a lot..these kind of persons are always into wrong things so they think in that way only..
We cant compare them to a bright intelligent and leading lady of our country..
They show their true levels by saying this.
Was he in sane state of mind when he said that on-air?
would be for him to be replaced by someone of Indian origin
