'Here, it's better to stay focussed on the food and...er, food :)

Of course, I mean now that WK and Brit are so far away.

You can't be serious! I used to have tired eyes from the eyelash-batting!

You were probably just too focussed on the food and the wine.

Welcome back, anyway! Here, it's better to stay focussed on the food and...er, food :)

Who the heck is Al Sharpton??

And she's surprised about Asian men having a tendency to be materialistic? Not really, just a particular demographic section of it which has a predisposition to that weakness.

Sadly, I'll have to get a Chestal hair transplant to compete with the italians.. :O(

Ofcourse I could also use the front room rug and glue it to my front to turn her on..

See Xena I am closer :-P

If Brit was in the same continent then I have no chance :P

On the subject of inter-racially more experienced.... sorry, but next time I will have to get a map to where the hot men in Italy are... cause I didn't find any:-(

Thanks, but I really am usually more partial to Italian wine :)

Except in Doha, of course. One just takes what one gets ;)

Shouldn't it have been a lovely Italian wine, then? :) That's what I miss most. (And the food, of course)

Next time you should see Tuscany beyond Florence. Indescribably beautiful!

Bon voyage :)

am currently sitting in my friend's kitchen having a last ciggie and coke zero in Italy.... leaving for the airport in 1 hour:-(

Staying in Latina... visited Rome and Florence:-)

Hey! How was your trip (assuming you're back)? Where in beautiful Italy did you go? :)

And oh yes, if you like chips (and other stuff that hate the word 'diet' equally), go to the Belgian Café. Love the place, and it's done up like a European brasserie...very charming, unlike most other places.

I love the tartare, too.

By Xena• 15 Mar 2011 13:43

Chips are my ultimate downfall in life.... huge favourite:-)

Diet? Please don't use such vulgar language a family forum;-p

I don't know whether to admire or feel sorry for people on diets.

I acknowledged long ago that I couldn't do it.

So, good for you, and good luck!

And if you like chips, go and have the ones at the Belgian Café (Intercontinental). Really good! And lots of nice (diet-breaking) accompaniments to choose from :))

By anonymous• 14 Mar 2011 20:53

where is it. yum yum. i am on diet. come on choco. lol. :-))

By Xena• 14 Mar 2011 20:10

but I doubt anyone here, besides brits, europeans or Saffers would know what I meant:-(

That has to be one of the funniest films I have seen. Who would have thought that the first character, and killed off in the film, would still be the star of the film as a corpse.

The assassin was also very funny.

The sequel was rubbish.

is that River Phoenix is ingrained in our minds as forever 20' something, he never made it to his 40s or 50s so we can never tell if the same reaction for Rob Lowe would have been passed on...

ah, Brit.... the stories I could tell;-P

WK...already done the Karma Sutra, and quite frankly... wasn't anything to write a book about;-P

However, a chapter about me in your book... could just make it the bestseller of the year;-)

Oh, but not us. They'll be wanting the lissome lasses now, won't they?

Saw lots at Crystal Lounge the other night :) You're right, then we have no import hassles. As long as they're allowed to publish it, of course.

And I actually like Silverman older :)

What design? I bet you just want a replica of this book's cover format - you surrounded by a bevy of belles in sweet nothings.

Only, how would we ship it into Qatar? :(

By chocaholic• 14 Mar 2011 19:13

'Mind over matter' is sometimes a happier choice. Some perceptions and fantasies are best spared the test of reality :)

Just like some unadulterated crushes of adolescence are best left un-revisited.

I still see a lot of Rob Lowe around and I just can't understand what I saw in him.

River Phoenix, though... :)

By anonymous• 14 Mar 2011 19:12

Xena I haven't written the final chapter yet ;)

Colt you can design the cover, we need mind's creativity there and not the actual matter ;)

I would rather that you wrote a similar book. I would find it more believable.

She was laid off from Goldman Sachs and facing foreclosure on her home, so she decided to write a book that would sell..

I think the book is more about hype than reality. anyone who calls her own boyfriend "terrorist face" cannot be playing with a full deck :O)

The term "Oriental" is very outdated in the US.

Nowadays the preferred term is "Asian".

I know - Oh well, we can only hope we come back as a writer with an interest like hers lol x

By Colt45• 14 Mar 2011 15:52

true dat!!! but depending where in the US you are, the "chinky-looking" (no disrespect) ones are called Asian and/or Oriental and the Indians are called Indians... rationale is, because of the number of Indians at that place.

Colt, yes, they separate them...Filippinos, Japanese, Malaysians etc. are called Orientals, the rest are Asians...i think India is totally separated from .

Funny enough, before I came here, I never looked at Indians as Asians.

By anonymous• 14 Mar 2011 15:45

I was not meaning that - plenty of ways to skin a cat - if you get my drift lol
