Applicant drivers-Eye Test or English test

in the traffic office, one lady nurse is performing the visual acuity test for applicant driver.

she placed the applicant ten feet from the chart and began...

Nurse: "Cover your right eye with that one."

the applicant read the 20/20 line perfectly.

Nurse: "Now your left."

Again, a flawless read.

Nurse: "Now both,"

There was silence.

Nurse: "read!"

the applicant couldn't even read the large E on the top line.

the lady nurse turned and discovered that he had done exactly what she had asked; he was standing there with both his eyes covered.

I was laughing too hard seeing them to finish the exam.
